Position: Bookkeeper Full-Time

We are a fast-growing landscape design, build, and maintenance company looking for an experienced, highly organized, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions and properly categorize them in QuickBooks.
- Manage invoicing and track accounts receivable.
- Record deposits and revenue with accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and ensure timely bill payments.
- Allocate expenses to the correct department/project for accurate job costing.
- Maintain a clean and organized chart of accounts.
- Work closely with the owner and manager to provide accurate reports.
- Assist with financial reports and cash flow tracking.
- Assist with labor budget hours for projects.
Qualifications:
- Proven bookkeeping experience (3 years preferred).
- Strong QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience required.
- Familiarity with landscape or construction industry job costing preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills – asks questions and follows up when needed.
Bonus if You Have:
- Experience working with project managers or field supervisors to clarify transactions.
- Understanding of W-9s, 1099s, and sales tax submissions.
- Familiarity with expense tracking apps or payroll systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
