Field Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our Site Optimization Services (SOS)Team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical/ electronic background. Radio Frequency Experience preferred but not needed. This position requires travel up to 30% a year. This Service is provided in the field where you will be conducting Spectrum fingerprinting, Spectral Analysis, and Interference Mitigation.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

· Conduct Service in the field such as Spectral Monitoring and Interference Mitigation.

· Prepare test equipment for shipment to and from sites

· Make travel arrangements and set up schedules with customers

· Set up equipment on-site and collect data

· Evaluate collected data and compose written reports to present to the customer

· Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to customers on system level interference and performance issues

· Represent TX RX Systems of a high standard during customer interface on technical and application discussions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Flexibility for travel is required – 30% typical, up to 3 weeks per trip. Must have a valid and clean driver license. Experience in off-road driving, pulling and maneuvering a small trailer a plus.

· Associates degree in Electronics or equivalent experience.

· Radio Frequency System experience a plus but not needed.

· Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and active listening skills

· Strong problem solving and organization skills

· Willing to be thoroughly trained on TX RX, the land mobile radio (LMR) industry

· Team player with a positive attitude

Essential Job Functions:

· Operate computer and keyboard and be proficient with Microsoft Office 365

· Use of electronic test equipment multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and network equipment

· Able to lift equipment up to 60 lbs

· Ability to operate a motor vehicle with towing a trailer experience a plus but not necessary. Able to sit for long periods of time

· Communicate effectively using written, speech, hearing and vision skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
