Responsibilities:
• Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards
• Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods
•Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
•Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis
• Other duties as assigned
Certain roles at Firestone Polymers are required to be on Emergency Response Teams (ERT) to respond to any emergencies that could come up at the site. Being on the ERT team requires passing a physical and additional trainings, including exterior firefighting, high-angle rescue, HazMat response, etc. The role you’re applying for could require ERT training. It’s also possible that ERT training will be required when moving into new roles or transferring departments.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma/GED
