We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy of financial records, preparing financial reports, managing account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. You will collaborate with other departments, assist in audits, and support the overall accounting function to ensure the company’s financial health and compliance.
Requirements
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close.
- Review and post journal entries for accruals, amortizations, and adjustments.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations for general ledger accounts.
- Assist with monthly financial consolidation.
- Ensure accuracy in all accounts, resolving discrepancies or issues as they arise.
- Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and supported.
- Assist with the company’s financial audit, ensure successful and timely completion.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Support or lead M&A activities including due diligence and integration efforts.
- Proven experience in accounting (a mix of both public and corporate accounting experience is a plus)
- In-depth knowledge of corporate accounting principles (including GAAP), laws and best practices.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and ERPs (e.g. Epicor).
- An analytical mind with strategic ability.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- At least 3 years experience in corporate accounting
- 2-3 years of public accounting experience (Big 4 experience is a plus)
- Prior experience with financial consolidations with international subsidiaries with various functional currencies.
- BS/BA in Accounting.
- CPA or other relevant qualification highly desired.
- Perform other duties as required.
