The Position
We are seeking a talented and motivated Architectural Design/Draftsperson to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working in a professional architectural office. While prior experience in exterior restoration is not required, a strong foundation in architectural design and drafting is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed design and technical drawings for architectural projects, focusing on the exterior envelope of buildings.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
- Support design and documentation efforts across various stages of the project lifecycle.
- Manage and organise project documentation efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional architectural office.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and InDesign.
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles and drafting techniques.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Rhino is a plus, though not required.
- Interest in architectural restoration and historic preservation.
- Attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality work.
