The Job:
Our client is looking for experienced electrical engineers that are enthusiastic and highly driven. Commercial, industrial, healthcare, recreational, governmental, and educational projects are among the many types of projects you will work on.
This calls for someone who can work diligently and is self-motivated. Responsibilities include power distribution, lighting, security systems, fire alarm and emergency power in education, commercial, institutional, sports and health care facilities. Helping to further grow their local office and Electrical Engineering Department, in addition to taking part in business development initiatives for the company are further responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a similar field
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering, including internships
- Professional licensure or certification preferred (PE or EIT)
- Additional accreditation in sustainable building practices is a plus (LEED)
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Revit MEP and AutoCAD
- Background in designing and coordinating complex electrical systems
- Knowledge of lighting, technology and fire alarm systems
- Proven track record in managing projects and engaging with clients
- Ability to lead teams and oversee projects effectively
