Responsibilities
The Project Manager holds the primary responsibility for the daily direction and coordination of construction efforts. This role encompasses the full spectrum of project management, from the initial estimation phase to the final project closeout. This includes, but is not limited to, securing commitments, developing master schedules, monitoring project budgets, and ensuring timely completion. They also collaborate with the Superintendent team to promote a safe work environment by conducting routine safety inspections and observations.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree is required in a construction-related field, such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
- 8 years of professional experience in construction management is necessary.
- A demonstrated history of successfully managing large-scale projects and teams is essential.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities are required.
- Strong problem-solving competencies are crucial.
- A comprehensive understanding of construction processes and regulations is necessary.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools, such as Procore and MS Project, is required.
- Advanced knowledge of construction methodologies and best practices is essential.
