Summary:
The Senior Safety Director oversees all safety operations across the GC, self-perform and development sectors ensuring full compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards. This role leads the development and implementation of safety policies, promotes a strong safety culture, and mitigates risk across job sites. The position reports to executive leadership and manages safety teams across multiple projects and regions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce safety programs aligned with construction regulations and company goals.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local safety standards.
- Conduct site audits, lead incident investigations, and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze safety metrics and lead continuous improvement efforts.
- Train and mentor project-level safety staff and superintendents.
- Coordinate emergency response plans and drills.
- Report key safety data and trends to executive leadership.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Construction Management, or related field.
- 10 years in construction safety; 5 in a leadership role.
- CSP, CHST, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Deep knowledge of construction-specific OSHA standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and risk management skills.
- Experience managing safety on multi-site or large-scale construction projects.
- Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
