The Job:
Our client is looking for experienced mechanical engineers that are enthusiastic and highly driven. Commercial, industrial, healthcare, recreational, governmental, and educational projects are among the many types of projects you will work on.
This calls for someone who can work independently and is self-motivated. You will be responsible for leading and helping to further grow their local office and Mechanical Engineering Department, in addition to taking part in business development initiatives for the company. Leading projects from conception to completion, collaborating with the client, utilizing and coordinating internal resources, and representing the company to the client team are further responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in mechanical engineering
- Professional licensure or certification required (PE or EIT)
- Additional accreditation in sustainable building practices is a plus
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Revit MEP and AutoCAD
- Background in designing and coordinating intricate mechanical systems
- Familiarity with plumbing and fire safety system design
- Proven track record in managing projects and engaging with clients
- Ability to lead teams and oversee projects effectively
