Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Route Support Specialist to assist with the delivery of wholesale goods to retail accounts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping load, unload, and transport goods, ensuring that deliveries are made in a timely and accurate manner while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks with wholesale goods, ensuring products are handled carefully and securely.
• Help secure loads in the truck to prevent damage during transportation.
• Deliver products to retail accounts and ensure timely, accurate deliveries based on the scheduled route.
• Verify orders against delivery documentation and ensure all products are delivered as ordered.
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with customers during deliveries.
• Inspect products for any damage prior to delivery and report any discrepancies or damage to the supervisor.
• Assist with any paperwork, such as delivery logs, proof of delivery, and returns documentation.
• Keep the delivery area clean and organized.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during loading, unloading, and transportation of goods.
• Assist drivers with navigation and communication during the route to ensure efficient and safe delivery.
• Help with unloading and stocking products at the retail location as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, delivery, or retail setting is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 100 pounds or more) and perform physical labor.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Ability to follow directions and work in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, late hours, and weekends as necessary.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
