Summary:

Join TyGrig, a leading provider of garage door services, as a Garage Door Specialist. In this hands-on role, you'll install and repair garage doors for residential and commercial clients, ensuring top-notch service and customer satisfaction. This role is integral to our Door Installation department, directly impacting our service quality and customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Install and Replace Garage Doors: Safely remove old doors and install new ones, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
• Repair and Maintain Components: Identify and replace worn or broken parts, including springs, cables, and hardware, to ensure optimal operation.
• Assemble Mechanical Systems: Install and configure mechanical components such as springs and hardware, ensuring seamless operation.
• Electrical Wiring: Run wiring to connect equipment, test functionality, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Customer Education: Inform customers about available upgrades and ensure they are satisfied with the services provided.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of each job, including services performed and parts used.

Qualifications:

• Physical Capability: Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work on ladders; comfortable with bending, climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
• Tool Proficiency: Basic knowledge of tools such as power drills, hammers, and saws.
• Driver’s License: Valid license with a clean record for at least 3 years.
• Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test (excluding THC).
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with basic software/apps for navigation and job tracking.
• Communication Skills: Strong reading and basic math skills, including the ability to take accurate measurements.
• Professional Appearance: Maintains a professional and approachable demeanor.
• Work Authorization: Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
