Description
Adjunct Professor, Emergency Management is a part-time 4.5 month position that reports to the Department Chair, Emergency Management / Fire Protection Technology and to the Dean, Professional & Technical Programs. Professors provide classroom instruction and college service.

Required Education / Experience
Bachelor's degree in emergency management, risk management, disaster recovery or other discipline closely related to emergency management.Recent and relevant work experience in emergency management or related field.
Preferred Education / Experience -
Master's degree (doctorate preferred) in emergency management, risk management, disaster recovery or other discipline closely related to emergency management.Experience in a leadership role in the field.Experience in disaster management, homeland security, or emergency planning and preparedness.Experience in State and Federal emergency disaster and emergency management regulations, protocols, practices, and principles.Previous teaching experience.RETIREMENT
