Description
A Student Assistant (SA) at TJC plays an important role in promoting the mission of the department/office and college. The SA is required to perform various clerical tasks that aide in maintaining an organized workflow of the department/office.
Essential Functions and Duties
- Serve as a student representative for the TJC marketing team.
- Review marketing content across multiple channels and provide constructive feedback from a TJC student’s point of view to improve engaging interactions with both prospects and current traditional students at TJC.
- Assist with research of best marketing practices and techniques to recruit and retain traditional students at TJC.
- Performs hand-deliveries to other campus offices.
- Assists with basic office administration and other work as needed: this may include maintaining spreadsheets; preparing reports; coordinating/gathering data; filing, copying or scanning documents, etc.
Qualifications
Students must be registered for undergraduate classes and maintain enrollment status to work in these positions. Students may qualify for Federal Work Study, which will be determined by the Office of Financial Aid.
Supplemental Information
Students are allowed to work a maximum of eighteen (18) hours per week and cannot work in multiple hourly positions. A work week is Sunday-Saturday.
