What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stockroom Clothing Associate position at Tyler's?
Reports To: Store Manager, Operations Manager
Supervises: Assistant Stock Manager & Stock Associates
General Purpose of Position: As part of the stockroom team, the Stockroom associate works directly with the Stock Manager to ensure the day-to-day shipping & receiving expectations of the retail store are being met. A Stockroom associate must have the ability to make informed decisions, solve problems in a critical and diligent manner, and effectively process incoming and outgoing shipments.
Responsibilities/Duties
· Responsible for ensuring all processes and procedures within shipping & receiving are being completed to company standards.
· Responsible for the execution and organization of all paperwork relating to shipping & receiving.
· Responsible for ensuring all outgoing internet orders are completed in accordance with the guidelines established by the e-commerce department.
· Ensures that back stock merchandise is stored and handled in accordance with Tyler’s policies, strategies, and procedures.
· Follow compliance of associates with established company policies and standards relating to shipping & receiving.
· Communicates inventory discrepancies and defective returns as soon as possible.
· Maintains store appearance and product presentation to company standards.
· Communicates with the Stock manager to establish product flow expectations within the receiving department.
· Upholds specific department goals, cleanliness, organization, aesthetic appeal, and inventory management.
· Provides support to sales associates during peak periods or when scheduling conflicts arise.
· Ensures safekeeping of all TYLER’S property.
· Works to prevent damage and theft of merchandise.
· Keeps the Stock Manager well informed of activities and significant issues.

Requirements
· Available to work a varied schedule possibly including nights, weekends, and holidays.
