Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Overnight Associate to join our team. EXPERIENCED forlift operator to work the dock midnight - 8 am Monday thru Friday for a busy trucking company in Folcroft. The job involves loading freight on trucks for daily delivery, unloading trailers with the use of forklifts and pallet jacks. Minimal computer work ability helpful. MUST have recent forklift experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklift and pallet jack.
- Load and unload freight from trailers and on to box trucks. ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain organization within the warehouse by following established procedures for inventory management and cleanliness.
- Assist with s and inventory counts as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet productivity goals while adhering to safety regulations.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Skills
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
