Tyler Union, a division of McWane, Inc, the nation’s leading manufacturer of Ductile Iron Waterworks Fittings and Appurtenances has an immediate opening for a Central Region Sales Manager. Tyler Union's main manufacturing facility is located in Anniston, AL. The Central Region currently consists of 11 states from the Dakotas to Texas and is covered by five Territory Managers.
The Regional Manager shall be responsible for managing all aspects of the Central Region and associated personnel for all products sold via the distribution channel. The Central Regional Manager will work directly with Territory Managers as well as sales support personnel, production planning and other internal departments to achieve sales objectives. Job Description
- Develop regional sales strategy aligning with Tyler Union’s larger strategy and over-arching company objectives to ensure consistency in approach and direction.
- In coordination with Territory Managers and Sales Engineering, promote new and existing products to distribution channel and end user community to develop favorable specification position for Tyler Union products.
- Develop and maintain strong communication networks and relationships throughout the distribution channels and the engineering and end user communities.
- Communicating market trends, VOC, and other relevant feedback to senior management through required reporting and sales communication calls.
- Consult with sales personnel and key customers in the event of service, delivery, pricing, or product quality issues.
- Evaluate significant bid opportunities and provide senior management recommended strategies to maximize revenue and profits.
- Continually monitor individual territory performance toward objectives and implement corrective measures where performance falls short of goals.
- Manage product complaints and negotiate reasonable settlement of claims.
- Perform various other miscellaneous sales and sales management related duties as directed.
