Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Perform drywall installation and repair tasks, ensuring a smooth finish.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks.
- Assist in trim carpentry projects, including measuring, cutting, and installing trim work.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate execution of painting and construction projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on the construction site.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with drywall installation and repair techniques is desirable.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to painting and construction tasks.
- Knowledge of plastering techniques is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications is essential.
