Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dealer Development Strategy Manager to oversee the setup of tractor dealerships across different regions. The Dealer Development Strategy Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and finance, to develop and implement an effective dealer development strategy that meets business objectives and targets while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and dealer profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive dealer development strategy that includes market analysis, dealer selection criteria, and territory planning
• Identify and evaluate potential dealer partners to expand the tractor dealership network and support the business's growth objectives
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential dealer partners to ensure alignment with the company's goals and objectives
• Develop and implement dealer training programs to ensure that dealers have the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively market and sell the company's products
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing and sales programs to support the dealer network and drive sales growth
• Develop and maintain performance metrics and KPIs to measure and monitor the effectiveness of the dealer development strategy and the performance of the dealer network
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies to address them
• Develop and manage the dealer network budget to ensure effective allocation of resources and maximize ROI
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the performance of the dealer network and the dealer development strategy
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in dealer development, dealer management, or sales management in the Outdoor Power equipment, heavy equipment, or related industry, preferably in the tractor equipment business
• Strong understanding of dealer network management concepts, sales, and marketing strategies
• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing dealer development strategies and programs
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with dealers and internal stakeholders
• Experience in budget management and financial analysis
• Willingness to travel extensively to different regions to meet with dealers and evaluate market opportunities
