What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paint and Body Technician position at TYM North America Inc?
Position Summary: The Paint/Body Technician is responsible for paint repairs as well as repairing and refinishing damaged body parts of tractors in accordance with TYM North America, Inc. specifications. Technician will use hand tools, power tools, and spray-painting equipment. Technician is responsible for ensuring that the product meets or exceeds the appearance specifications set forth by the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Painting Tractors and Tractor Parts
- Repairing damaged tractor parts
- Follow required specifications
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment and area.
- Document all work performed.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to prioritize and follow directions.
- Ability to work 8 hours per day and weekends as needed in a factory setting.
- Knowledge of paint and appearance.
- May occasionally lift and move up to 20 to 50 pounds in a factory or outside setting.
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment as needed.
- The ability to operate a tractor is a plus.
- Perform reworks, paint touch up, wash, and other duties as needed.
Job Qualifications:
- Thorough understanding of equipment, product, and industry.
- Successful completion of on-the-job training related to repairing equipment.
- Regular and timely attendance required.
