What are the responsibilities and job description for the Set Up Assembly Associate position at TYM North America Inc?
Position Summary: The Set-Up Assembly Associate is instrumental in the production process, as they ensure materials needed for the assembly line are broken down in a safe and efficient manner. This role will be responsible for the accuracy of the orders given to the assembly line.
Job Duties:
- Provide materials to the production line accurately and in a timely manner.
- Breakdown shipping frames; prepare for return shipment to manufacturer.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Meet production goals.
- Record and complete required paperwork timely and accurately.
- Tag tractors with correct sales orders and serial numbers.
- Leverage lean manufacturing concepts to support continuous improvement and waste elimination.
- Use industrial power tools and hand tools.
- Operate forklift safely and proficiently
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Ability to multitask, manage time, & prioritize
- 3 years of forklift operation experience
- Excellent organizational skills with special attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with power tools preferred.
- Regular and timely attendance required.
