The TYM North America Territory Sales Manager for the Upper Mid-West market plays a crucial role in driving sales and building strong relationships within a designated territory for TYM products. The Territory Manager identifies new dealer opportunities, develops dealers, and evaluates dealer performance, in line with established sales goals and performance metrics. The Territory Manager serves as the “face” of TYM North America to the dealer network within the assigned territory and serves as a primary point of contact for resolving dealer concerns. The successful candidate will be a proactive and results-driven professional capable of expanding market share within their assigned territory. (ND, SD, NE, MN, IA, WI, IL)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for the assigned territory to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Analyze customer needs, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Ensure alignment of territory strategies with overall company goals.
- Meet or exceed sales targets within territory for wholesale and/or retail sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing TYM North America dealers in the territory.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned customer base.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of sales initiatives within the territory.
- Utilize data and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and make data-driven adjustments.
- Provide regular reports on territory sales performance to relevant stakeholders.
- Recruit, retain, and develop high quality dealerships to sell and support TYM products.
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement local campaigns, promotions, and events.
- Stay informed about industry trends.
- Provide training and support to customers on product features, benefits, and applications.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- Work closely with the customer support team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. (not Required)
- Proven experience in tractor/agricultural equipment sales, with a successful track record in territory management.
- Strong understanding of the tractor/agricultural equipment market and industry dynamics within the assigned territory.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Results-oriented with a proven ability to meet or exceed territory sales targets.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory. (ND, SD, NE, MN, IA, WI, IL)
