Primary Responsibilities
TYME is seeking full-time Entry Level Construction Technicians to add to our amazing team. Your primary duties will focus on field observation, assist with construction activities documentation in conformance with contract requirements, participate in density testing, aggregate gradation testing, and materials confirmation testing of HMA or concrete. The right candidate(s) must be able to work well independently and also in a team setting, be a strong communicator, have a flexible schedule and be able to work in an outdoor environment.

How you will contribute to the TYME team:
- Prepare daily reports detailing the status of the work, including verification of work completed, item postings and materials associations, and jobsite conditions.
- Complete and submit basic calculations, sketches, and item specific forms.
- Verify and document that construction adheres to contract requirements.
- Communicate with appropriate senior staff on issues of non-compliance.
- Communicate, as needed and appropriate, with project team and stakeholders including project engineer, other technicians, survey staff, contractors.
- Perform a wide variety of materials testing, including concrete, asphalt, aggregates, and soils both in the field and lab settings.
- Demonstrate your strong organization skills.
- Perform other duties as required.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:

- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent
- Beginners to Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
- Valid or easily renewable State DOT certifications a plus
- Valid driver’s license with no restrictions
- Applicants must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test and a background check
