SUMMARY: Responsible for the successful overall direction and operations of the bar and beverage outlets in alignment with the goals and objectives of the Food & Beverage Mission Statement, and in full accordance with all operational policies and procedures, as well as regulatory policies and procedures. The Beverage Manager is empowered to make discretionary decisions regarding the activities concerning bar and beverage outlets with the ultimate objective of enhancing the guest experience while maximizing profit.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES ASSIGNED:
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Applicant must obtain training on food safety and responsible beverage service of the Casino’s choosing. Must pass initial drug screening, background investigation, random drug tests and credit check.
EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management preferred, High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of five years of leadership experience in a similar environment, supervising a staff of 25 or more. Minimum of two to five years’ experience in Casino operations and/or gaming industry preferred.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and response to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, media, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member must be able to communicate effectively. The team member is also regularly required to stand; walk; sit; and use hands and fingers to hands, manipulate or feel objects, tools, or controls. The team member is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
The team member must frequently lift and/or move up to twenty-five to fifty pounds, must occasionally lift and/or move up to seventy-five pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The Employee is continuously subject to the effects of a smoke-filled environment and must be able to tolerate this environment when on the Casino floor. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases too loud.
