The Benefits Administrator is responsible for, or shares responsibility, in the execution of the below activities as it pertains to assigned companies.
Duties
- Process electronic enrollments, updates/qualifying life events and terminations for employee benefits in Paycom
- Perform / assist with internal and external audits
- Assist employees with education and questions about benefits
- Act as a liaison between employee and benefit carriers to assist with issue resolution
- Provide guidance and input during claim processing
- Administer COBRA notices and enrollments
- Assist with ACA compliance and reporting
- Reconcile and submit monthly benefit vendor invoices for payment
- Provide support for open enrollment activities
- Assist with writing, reviewing and implementing internal policies and procedures
- Maintain electronic employee records
- Ensure accurate collection of employee premiums through payroll processing in Paycom
- Create reports as requested for audits, carrier submissions, etc.
- Provide administrative support to HR Team when needed
- Other Duties as Assigned
- At least 1 - 3 years' experience in benefits administration.
- Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience may be substituted.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
- Must have strong MS Excel skills, as well as MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Paycom system experience preferred.
- Experience in Government Contracting and SCA compliance preferred.

- Must be able to walk or stand on level and/or inclined surfaces and sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to routinely climb / descend stairs.
- On occasion must be able to lift 30 pounds.
- Must be able to routinely grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows / knees, and reach above / below shoulders.
- Works in a normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions.
