About the Role :

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Costco to lead and oversee all aspects of our business with Costco, one of our most critical retail partners. This role is responsible for driving the strategic relationship with Costco, ensuring successful product placement, optimizing sales performance, and maximizing growth opportunities across all categories. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing the Costco channel, with deep expertise in navigating its unique business model and requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute a comprehensive Costco strategy to drive revenue growth, market share, and profitability.
  • Relationship Management : Serve as the primary point of contact for Costco, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Product Placement : Lead negotiations and initiatives to secure optimal product placement, including new item launches, seasonal promotions, and exclusive offerings.
  • Sales Growth : Identify and implement strategies to accelerate sales performance, including pricing, promotions, and merchandising opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product Development) to align on goals and ensure seamless execution of Costco-related initiatives.
  • Market Analysis : Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and Costco-specific dynamics to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Performance Metrics : Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Team Leadership : Build and lead a high-performing team dedicated to the Costco business, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in retail or CPG, with at least 5 years specifically managing the Costco channel.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving sales growth and managing large-scale retail accounts.
  • Deep understanding of Costco’s business model, buying processes, and operational requirements.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with Costco teams and attend key meetings.
