Job Description
The Screen Printer and Embroidery Specialist is responsible for handling TYR Sport’s in-house customization production. This position will work in collaboration with our Custom House Supervisor, Customer Service and our Production teams to successfully customize and produce final product for customers and accounts.

This position will work in collaboration with our Custom House Supervisor, Customer Service and our Production teams to successfully customize and produce final product for customers and accounts.
Position Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Screen Printing
- Examining work orders to determine estimated printing times, ink, and material quantities.
- Designing screen patterns according to customer specification; which includes selecting screen size, degreasing agents and emulsion coatings.
- Align and operate single and multiple color screens jobs on manual machines.
- Loading screen into printer. Installing and repositioning screen-printing plates and pressure roles
- Calibrating printer before batch is printed.
- Manage multiple jobs at one time and produce at a fast rate of speed and high quality.
- Running prints and performing quality checks throughout the printing process. Troubleshooting problems as they arise.
- Inspect merchandise against order specifications.
- Drying, folding, and packing completed articles after the run.
- Coat, burn and reclaim screens for future use
- Accountable for sample print approval
- Bi-weekly maintenance of machines & equipment
- Read, interpret and complete embroidery orders
- Load design, thread selection, hooping, trimming and packaging.
- Handle logo and text line embroidery on woven apparel.
- Inspect merchandise against order specifications.
- Complete adjustments or repairs to embroidery set ups
- Maintain and clean the machinery
- Other Duties – Additional warehouse duties such as packing, pulling, unloading containers, and/or other warehouse related work may be assigned.

- Must have experience working with plastisol inks, color mixing
- Ability to follow order instructions, and other printing-related tasks
- Ability to work with multiple departments and communicate effectively
- Ability to manage work independently on multiple projects and adherence to strict deadlines
- Attention to detail and well organized
- Knowledge of basic math, and computer skills
- Able to lift, carry, push, pull up to 30 pounds and stand required throughout the day.
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Two to three years Screen Printing and/or Embroidery experience,
- Experience in running, operating, and troubleshooting screen printing and embroidery machinery, including single and multi-head units.
