Job Responsibilities
- Evaluating and analyzing potential acquisition opportunities
- Preparing investment review packages for the management team
- Performing due diligence (including managing third-parties), valuation analysis, and proposal development for potential acquisition candidates
- Drafting letters of intent, purchase agreements and ancillary documents in conjunction with senior management and members of the board of directors to efficiently close transactions
- Wearing multiple hats if needed and being a team player in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
- 1-3 years of prior analyst-level experience in accounting, FP&A, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or direct lending)
- OR 1-3 years of prior analyst-level experience ideally with a top-tier consulting firm, specifically supporting PE in due diligence or M&A
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software for analysis and reporting
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex information clearly and effectively
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Prior experience at a multi-site acquisition driven organization is a plus, but not required
- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degrees a plus
- Demonstrates a strong desire for continuous learning and professional growth given the exposure to the entire deal process; from sourcing, through integration, to execution
