Job Summary
As Credentialing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations within the dental office by ensuring accurate and complete payer enrollment, participation and fee schedule management.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage payer participation for all Premier partner dentists and locations
- Maintain accurate effective date tracker for submitted applications
- Maintain inventory of fee schedules, including annual updates
- Work with billing team to resolve claims related to credentialing issues
- Manage vendor relationships as required.
- Additional projects or initiatives as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or experience equivalent; healthcare administration, finance or related field is a plus.
- 1 years of experience in dental credentialing in a multi-state DSO.
- Experience with credentialing application software, DentalxChange preferred
- Proficiency in various practice management software, as well as Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to multi-task and meet agreed upon deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must work collaboratively with Operations and other RCM team members.
