High School Science Teacher

• Full-time position, Grades 7 - 12
• Starting Date: August 18, 2025
• 7.5 hours/day, 5 days/week, 187 Contract Days

• Required Certification: Biology 7-12. Applications from candidates who are certified in another area of secondary science and are willing to become certified in Biology may be considered.
• Qualified individuals must be able to create lesson plans, manage a classroom, deliver instruction, and complete all professional teaching duties as required in a secondary science classroom.

Music Teacher

• Part-time position, Grades 5-12
• Starting salary contingent upon teacher contract negotiations

• 3.75 hours/day (11:15 am - 3:00 pm), 5 days/week, 187 Contract Days
• Health, dental, and vision insurance available with required partial payment
• Includes 5 sick days and 1 personal day
• Required Certification: Music PreK-12
• Qualified candidates will teach courses and programs in areas to include music appreciation and instrumental and vocal techniques as well as collaborate with existing staff to enhance music programs and offerings.

Speech & Language Pathologist

• Full-time position, District-wide
• Starting Date: August 18, 2025
• 7.5 hours/day, 5 days/week, 187 Contract Days
• Includes health benefits, and 10 sick and 2 personal days
• Required Certification: Speech and Language Impaired PK-12.
• Work with preschool and school age students with a wide range of speech-language related problems to meet and complete performance standards in individual or small group settings. Service EI students in summer program on timesheet basis. Assess students and complete the required paperwork. Collaborate with colleagues to support students in the general education classrooms.

Chief School Police Officer

• Full-time position, 210 Contract Days
• 8 hours/day, 5 days/week
• $26 - $30 per hour based on experience

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have successfully completed basic training as required by the Municipal Police Officers' Education and Training Commission under 53 Pa.C.S. Ch. 21 Subch. D (relating to municipal police education and training) OR graduated from the Pennsylvania State Police Academy, been employed as a State trooper with the Pennsylvania State Police and separated from that service in good standing.
• Must possess current, active Act 120 certification.
• Must have successfully completed, or be willing to complete prior to appointment, the Basic School Resource Officer Course offered by the National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO) or an equivalent course of instruction approved by the PCCD.
• Must be familiar with PA law as it relates to law enforcement. Must be a certified first responder or greater.
• Must have or be able and willing to learn and complete Incident Command 100 for Schools, 700, 300, 400, and complete other training as prescribed by the District.
• Minimum 10 years of active law enforcement experience preferred or a combination of education and experience.
• Must have a valid PA driver’s license, without any violations in the previous three years.
• Current Act 34, Act 151, and Act 114 Clearances as prescribed by law, and any other clearances that may be required by law or the School District.
• Maintain CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Must be able to complete any additional training as prescribed by law or the School District.
