Th is position starts at $18 / hr with a shift increase for the second and third shifts and potential for overtime.
Position Description :
This position is responsible for performing various repetitive assembly and packaging tasks on a high-speed assembly line in a frozen food facility while adhering to various safety, food safety, and efficiency guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Monitor product and equipment for defects or contamination.
- Place frozen and refrigerated food components on a moving assembly line.
- Pack assembled products into cartons or containers for shipment.
- Rotate through various workstations as assigned.
- Follow all safety protocols, including wearing PPE, performing stretches, rotating positions, and maintaining a designated pace.
- Pass safety and food safety tests.
- Adhere to food safety requirements, including handwashing, wearing PPE (hairnets, beard nets, smocks), and following Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
