Stand-Up Forklift Operator position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and / or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Tasks :
- Applicants will be considered for openings in any department that may include but are not limited to Warehouse or Shipping and Receiving.
- Must accept work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from -10 to 34 degrees. Jobs are fast paced and require repetitive motion.
- Some positions require lifting, pushing and pulling up to 40 lbs.
- Material Handling and Receiving positions require lifting 70 lbs.
- Constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment (forklifts, stand up lifts).
- Must be able and willing to stand throughout 10-12-hour shifts.
- Specialized training for powered industrial trucks required to be qualified within Tyson Foods, Inc.
Shift Schedule :
Weeknights - Monday to Thursday
Weekends - Friday, Saturday, Sunday
