Profile
The Vice President of SGC reports to the SVP of Prepared Sales with a dotted line to the Chief Customer Officer and is a member of the Customer Leadership Team. They are responsible for the Sales Strategy & Planning (SS&P), Trade Optimization, and Strategic Pricing teams. They will oversee the Prepared Retail Sales Strategic Plan, the Prepared Retail AOP executional planning, Innovation Go-To-Market strategy, Trade Management and Optimization, along with Net Recovery through Pricing Strategies. They also ensure that the customer voice is embedded in all internal decisions. The ideal candidate, responsible for leading a large team, will be inspirational, energetic, and committed to a high-performing team who embodies Tyson’s cultural tenets and embraces the Customer Promise.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Guides AOP / SP through knowledge of retail market and various customer models.
- Owns profitability, revenue, volume, trade spending, trade ROI, ACV, and Net Recovery associated with AOP.
- Brings Category Leadership Platforms to life in the marketplace.
- Responsible for Retail Strategic Pricing Strategy & Net Recovery over time.
- Develops strategies to accelerate growth trajectory and minimize risks associated with both top line and bottom line results.
- Leads and actively develops a high-performing team.
- Committed to joint development of their team members.
- Owns annual base forecasting and Innovation NSV.
- Consummate Voice for the field, customer & internal business partners.
- Determines best investment alternatives via customer segmentation & revenue management.
- Critical consultant cross-functionally with Insights, Innovation, Brand, Project Management, Customer Teams, Category Leadership, Supply Chain, and Finance.
