Bergman Feed mill - Feed Mill Worker Labor FM02 - 1st - FT

Job Details:

Work shift: 1st shift. Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm. Occasional weekends, as needed. Based pay $17.75/ hr.

Job Description:

• Ability to Sweep and clean assigned areas of the mill and sign off when completed
• Help and assist with ingredients unloading activities like unloading of rail car/trucks
• Ability to clean up feed spills
• Ability to perform ground keeping duties including using landscaping equitment such as mowers and trimmers.
• Ability to use and maintain air driver equitment like blow guns to assist in cleaning acitivities
• Ability to use high pressuse water hoses to wash down and clean areas of the feed mill
• Ability to use PIT to move pallets of ingredients
• Must wear required PPE ear protection
• Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather.
• Ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling
• Ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures
• Able to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guildelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species
• Maintain good housekeeping including service areas
• Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required
• Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols
• Able to Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day.
• Complete all other tasks assigned by management.
  
  

Experience: Note: we would prefer someone with previous experience operating a forklift, bobcat, etc.

Special Skills:

• Ability to certify and maintain PIT Certification Where applicable
  
  

LOTO Training (this requires the ability to read, write and understand specific procedures, have the ability

to operate heavy machinery safely).

Job Requirements:

Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild or exotic fowl to be considered. Only applicants from the following counties in AR will be considered: Washington, Benton and Madison, Adair County in OK, or within a 50-mile radius of the mill.
