Job Details:
This position is responsible for performing high-skilled heavy general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Duties:
- The team member will perform specialized tasks such as gutting, neck bone raising, rib and tenderloin pulling.
- The team member will engage in heavy detailed knife work to butcher or bone pork and operate saws and other equipment to process pork.
- The team member must handle products and materials efficiently.
- The team member will work in wet and humid environments with temperatures ranging from 35 to 100 degrees.
- Must be willing to perform physical activities including climbing ladders, working from elevated platforms, standing, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
- Must be willing to stand and walk on hard floors and lift up to 150 lbs. and push/pull up to 140 lbs.
Requirements:
These positions are high skilled jobs, that require previous knife skills, minimum 6-month production experience in a meat processing facility.
