Computer Skills: Basic computer skills including generating simple spreadsheets; Microsoft Office
Communication Skills: Must possess excellent written and verbal communication.
Special Skills: Strong organizational analytical and problem solving skills; knowledge of general ledger coding.

This position is responsible for accounts receivable management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process customer invoices
- Prepare check run for daily vendor payments
- Post customer payments by recording cash, check and EFT transactions into accounting software
- Prepare cash and check payments for bank, totaling and recording the deposit amounts, making deposits at bank
- Verify the validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments and customers
- Resolve collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line and communicating with customers
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Generate reports detailing paid and unpaid invoices and other AR activity
- Prepare and assist in preparation of ad-hoc reports
- Assist with providing supporting documentation and explanations as requested
- Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable transactions to ensure accuracy
