Description: This position is responsible for the Distribution Center new Team Member orientation of Tyson policies and procedures to include standard operating procedures for each of our four warehousing operational positions (forklift, order selector, checker, and loader).
Responsibilities: Conduct safety training, forklift training, and continually improve the internal orientation programs. Other duties include assessing the need for interpreters in various departments for communications clarity and coordinate the assistance of the interpreter; assist in acclimating new Team Members in and around the confines of the facility and with the qualification process; other duties may include warehouse operations and administrative tasks as assigned by management.
**Shift availability is determined by the business need at the time of offer**
B shift:
Sunday, Monday, & Tuesday - 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Wednesday - 7:00 PM to 1:15 AM
Requirements:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent required.
Experience: Knowledge and understanding of the work performed in the area of responsibility preferred. Previous training experience preferred.
Computer Skills: Standard computer skills – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Must be able to speak, read and write at a level to effectively communicate company policies and procedures during orientation.
Special Skills: Must be comfortable in presenting material to large groups; strong organizational skills. Ability to multi-task.
Travel: Some travel may be required.
Basic qualifications:
- Must have 1 year or more of Warehouse/Distribution center experience thru a single employer.
- Must have 3 months of work history with a single employer in the last 6 months listed.
- Must have a High school Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse trainer experience preferred.
- English/Spanish Bilingual preferred,
- Cold storage and Stand-up forklift experience preferred.
- Must have a Resume uploaded with application to be considered for position.
- This location is not considering prior Tyson Team members at this time.
