This position is responsible for assisting the supervisor with product flow, process efficiency, and product quality while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The starting base rate of pay is $20.45 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift position placement.
In this position you will:
- Be responsible for monitoring the audits done in the slicing room.
- Conduct timely checks for metal detection, collect samples, label verification and other varying audits as needed within the Slicing Department as deemed necessary by management.
- Have good communication and organizational skills to ensure the process is followed in compliance with product processing procedures and regulations.
- Follow all Safety and Food Safety Procedures.
- Be willing to work overtime as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 10 pounds.
- The Team Member will push/pull loaded bins with hand jack.
- The Team Member will work in a cold and damp or dry environment.
- The Team Member will perform repetitive motions, reaching above shoulders, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, climbing, standing and walking.
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
