Job description
The Tyson Foods plant in Gadsden, AL is hiring a part-time teacher for ESL (English as a Second Language) classes that will begin in January. This class is a free benefit to Tyson employees and we are seeking someone who is able to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and who has experience teaching ESL. More details below:
- Class: basic English digital skills (we have a full curriculum and will train the instructor)
- Hours: Thursdays from 1:30 - 3:00pm and 3:00 - 4:30pm
- Start date: April 21, 2025
- Course length: 14 weeks, will likely continue for repeated 14-week sessions (3x/year)
- Pay: $40/hour for instruction time plus several hours a week of prep time, plus all training. This will average to 4-6 paid hours per week.
- Location: Tyson Foods plant in Gadsden, AL
