Job Details:
This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
This position pays $16.20/hr

Description
This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Tasks
This position requires standing for long periods of time, lifting to 50 pounds, shoveling, climbing stairs and ladders up to 60 feet, bending, stretching, reaching, working in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors. Must be able to use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical and maintenance functions. Maintain clean work area by use of soap and high-pressure hose. Must be able to read and complete required logs. Must be able to communicate with supervisor and co-workers via two-way radio. May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. May be required to operate frontend loader or forklift and will be required to obtain certification to do so. Specific operator experience is beneficial, we also consider transferable skills from related fields (e.g., customer service, management) that can be applied to our operations.
MUST HAVE: 6 months operator experience with one employer in the last 24 months. Worker history must be documented on application or resume.
