Job Details:
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while using a hand pallet jack while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The beginning pay for this position is $17.55/ hour.
Other Duties: As assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- This person is responsible for supplying the area with product and production and packaging materials needed
- This person is responsible for transporting a full pallet or tote of product away from the line, capping and wrapping the pallet, then transporting to appropriate workstation as directed.
Environmental: Work inside facility, cold in coolers and freezers, chemicals solutions for sanitizing foot dips and hand wash stations, wet floors, electrical and mechanical hazards, moving objects, cramped working quarters at times.
Candidate must have 6 months of continuous work history with a single employer with six months of relevant forklift experience. Preferred candidates will have warehouse experience.
