Job Details:
This position is responsible for setting up and operating equipment used in the manufacturing of food products while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Tasks:
The Line Operator is an assistant to the Group Leader on the line. The Line Operator also fills in for the Group Leader during breaks and absenteeism. The Line Operator performs raw weight and breader weight checks continuously and record weights. Must compare weights with QA checks. Oversee one line from the Formaxes to the shaker. Share responsibility for the equipment, product, and monitor the team members. Help set-up the equipment and make adjustments to the equipment throughout the day. Report all issues to the supervisor.
Requirements:
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork and computer data entry; good problem identification and problem-solving skills; willing to perform basic math and organizational skills; must have flexibility to work any position on the cook side.
Must have 6 months of continuous employment with a single employer within the last 36 months of employment.
Rehire Consideration:
- Max of two (2) previous Tyson Employments to be considered.
- 180 days (6 months) waiting period.
