This position has a starting base rate pay of $20.45 per hour, and an additional $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift position placement. We currently have various Machine Operator positions open that applicants may be considered for.

Job Description:
- Responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed and notify supervisor if machines require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
- Learn new EIM System and use hand held scanners, as well as any other duties assigned.
- Wear the appropriate (PPE) personal protective equipment which includes steel toed shoes, bump cap and hearing protection.
- Team members are encouraged to dress appropriately before they arrive at their workstation.
Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. necessary when dumping bags of spice.
- Must be willing and able to push/pull of 80 lb. film in cart to machine.
- The Team Member will use torso flexion of 0-45 degrees is noted while handling spice.
- The Team Member will use full bilateral extension of arms necessary.
- The Team Member will use bilateral full hand grasp is used when performing checks for code dates.
- The Team Member will stand at all times in all work stations.
- The Team Member will use simultaneous use of both hands when performing this job.
- The Team Member will work in areas that could range between 38 and 50 degrees temperatures and at times conditions could be wet.
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 3 months of operator experience documented in the work history section of the application (can be a combination of employers as long as it is at least 3 months).
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
