Job Details:
$17.45 Hour
Shift: 6:30AM - 4:30PM
Schedule: Monday - Friday with some Saturday's
This position is responsible for operating Pacmac bagger to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Needs to have knowledge of the tools needed and used to keep the machine running.
Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules- Must be able to perform job to standard within 15 days.
- Must be willing to push, pull, carry, and/or lift 40 pounds for some positions. Must be willing to work in damp, cold or hot environments, reach above shoulder level.
- Must be able to perform the duties of the position.
- Be willing to stand 8- 10 hours a day.
- Must wear PPE, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard.
- Must be able to maneuver around freely as needed.
- Must have good hand/eye coordination.
- Must have use of both hands and arms.
- Must be able to bend, twist, stoop and reach.
Requirements:
Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you were previously employed at Tyson, there’s a 365-day waiting period before you can reapply.
- Number of Times Worked at Tyson: You can apply if you’ve worked at Tyson no more than three times.
- Failed Drug Screen - if you had a failed drug screen, you must wait 6 months before reapplying.
