Managing Director, Live Operations
This position is responsible for providing direction to live operations teams to achieve operational and financial metrics established with the leadership and to provide our customers exceptional quality and service in alignment with Tyson Foods core values, corporate objectives, cultural tenets, company policy, and business unit strategies. Responsibilities include the ability to achieve established objectives for conversion cost working capital and asset management; coach our team members to have qualified and effective team members in all positions; achieve customer and consumer expectations for quality and service; champion and set standards for upholding growing and stewarding our culture; achieve EHS established metrics and program compliance; align operational capabilities with business unit and shared services strategies and programs. This position is responsible for upholding food safety, food quality, animal welfare, and legality.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience: 10 plus years live operations experience.
Computer Skills: Standard computer skills.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated leadership and strong interpersonal skills.
Special Skills: Analytical and financial management skills.
Supervisory: This position is responsible for providing direction to multiple groups of personnel who perform dissimilar tasks and activities in several different departments.
Travel: 12 plus trips per year.
