Job Details:
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for answering telephone inquiries or directing calls to the appropriate personnel. Responsible for reporting broiler department performance data; ordering and receiving department supplies; shipping samples to the lab; communicating chick delivery schedule to growers; assisting broiler manager with grower communications; answering telephone inquiries or directing calls to the appropriate personnel; distributing department mail; completing forms and typing memos correspondence; compiling data and generating reports; ordering supplies; and any other duties as assigned.
WORK SCHEDULE::
This positions hours are Monday - Thursday 6:00 am to 3:00 pm and on Friday 6:00 am to 10:00 am.. This position may have occasional Saturday work schedule.
DIFFICULTY OF DUTIES: Work involves occasional non-routine assignments. Requires some judgement in the selection of standard procedures from among several that apply to the job. This also includes organizing work and selecting appropriate methods to complete tasks.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Previous experience preferred.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills including generating simple spreadsheets in excel, Microsoft Office, and knowledge of Tyson Systems SAP and MTech preferred.
Special Skills: Strong organizational analytical and problem-solving skills; knowledge of multiple business units accounting requirements and general ledger coding.
