1. Complete position posting signup sheet
2. Maintain cleanliness of plant in accordance with Master Cleaning Schedule.
3. Must complete Fall Protection Training and adhere to all procedures.
4. Coordinate with Maintenance and Production set-up / break-down crew for breakdown and reassembling of equipment.
5. Work with various chemicals / cleaning agents in a safe manner following all applicable safety guidelines and procedures.
6. Be able to use high pressure water hose and high-pressure air wand in cleaning.
7. Clean all equipment in accordance with the SOP’s.
8. Maintain control of all issued equipment and tools.
9. Must complete the Sanitation Training Checklist within the designated training period.
10. Maintains good manufacturing practices and personal hygiene.
11. Must be able to work every weekend and holidays.
12. Must assist in traceability of scrap in certain areas of the facility.
13. Must be able to work a variable schedule and be able to work up to 12 hours in one shift.
14. Perform work in a safe manner.
15. Responsible for following company policies / procedures written or verbal.
16. Work as a team toward task accomplishments
17. Performs all other tasks as assigned by management
Section 2 Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required for the Position
Must be able to perform essential functions of job with or without reasonable accommodation.
1. Requires flexibility of wrists and hands. Walking, bending, standing and some lifting required. Must be able to tolerate heights up to 70 feet off of the ground on occasion. Lifting of up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis. Must be able to move heavy objects (100 lbs.) with mechanical device.
3. Must be able to successfully complete scissor lift training, forklift training or pallet jack training as deemed necessary by sanitation management.
4. Must be able to use a high pressure (air or water hose) hose
5. Some basic math will be required (addition/subtraction) when reporting scrap for production group.
6. Must be able to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
