Job Details:

This position is responsible for operating machinery and maintaining production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Must have 3-Months operator experience listed on the application (Can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 3 months).Applicants will be considered for any power jack start type opening on shift posted. Applicants will be considered for openings in any department that may include, but are not limited to, Shipping and Receiving. Must be available to work overtime and weekends if required. Must accept work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 28 to 42 degrees. Jobs are fast paced and require repetitive motion. Some positions require lifting, pushing and pulling up to 40 lbs. Material Handling and Receiving positions require lifting 70 lbs. Constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment. Specialized training for powered industrial trucks required to be qualified within Tyson Foods, Inc.

Needs to be able to label, organize and align pallets in cooler. Is required to become certified in both pallet jack and forklift operation.
