Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide production team members to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
- Enforce adherence to all human resource policies, food safety and sanitation protocols, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with management to achieve departmental objectives and implement process improvements.
- Complete necessary documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Knowledge of production operations, techniques, food safety, product yields, and USDA regulations.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency for data entry and reporting.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual skills are helpful.
- Travel: Minimal travel required.
- Supervisory Skills: Experience in leading teams and overseeing various production tasks.
- Special Skills: Leadership, problem-solving, and experience with special projects.
- Additional Requirements: Good attendance and a strong safety record. Technical skills and experience with Tyson-specific documentation are a plus.
