Stacker Labor PR02 : 3:15pm - 11:30pm
This position is responsible for entry level, non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Tasks:
- Must be willing and able to ensure all boxes are properly wrapped and finished product has proper date on each case.
- Must be willing and able to Support products on the line and ensure boxes are prepared.
- Must be willing and able to Inspect pallets to ensure proper pallet is used for product being produced.
- Must be willing and able to Pull all strapping and cardboard from pallet and dispose of properly when opening new boxes.
- Must be willing and able to Maintain all component supply for the line.
- Must be willing and able to Manage cardboard and keeep components and front of line clear of trash and debris.
- Must be willing and able to Follow proper sanitation guidelines including the use of gloves when handling meat or cheese.
- Must be willing and able to Weigh all broken and dropped products and report to operator.
- Must be willing and able to be Responsible for general housekeeping.
- Must be willing and able to Perform all duties in accordance with company policies, established procedures, HACCP and GMP’s.
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
Candidates must be available to work overtime and weekends as required to meet production deadlines; must have the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; must be willing to be cross trained and moved to other areas as needed and must be willing and able to stand for 8 – 12 hours per day on hard floors in extreme hot or cold environments ranging from 50 to 120 degrees.
Requirements:
Prior experience is not required.
Must have effective communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
