Yard Driver Opr. DB01 - 1st Shift - Berry Street

Job Details:

The Yard Driver is responsible for driving the yard dog to move trailers in and out of the doors in Shipping. Must be able to perform all job functions associated with using a yard dog. Team member must have the physical ability to climb in and out of the truck and perform all duties associated with moving trailers, such as hooking up lines, opening and closing trailer doors. Team member must have general mechanical knowledge and aptitude for maintaining the yard dog and reefers on trailers. Team member must be able to adequately perform pre-trip inspections and maintain driver’s logbook. Team member must be forklift certified or be able to obtain forklift certification. Team member must be able to work with minimal supervision due to working outside. Team member must understand the lock out tag out policy used by the shipping/receiving team members as this will ensure trailers are moved in and out of the doors safely. Most work duties require working outside and when doing so the team member will be subject to all weather conditions. Position requires working around/with moving objects. Overtime is required as needed and occasional weekend work.

Must have a clean MVR and a valid Driver's License. Must be 21 years of age or older. Applicants will be considered from the following counties in AR: Washington, Benton, and Madison. They will also be considered from McDonald County in MO.
